Deutsche Telekom Doubles Q1 Profit
Deutsche Telekom has reported an increase of 101% in net profit to 924m euros ($1.42bn) for the first quarter 2008, on revenue down 3% at 15bn euros ($23bn). It said the drop in revenue was the result of a decline at the company’s broadband/fixed network and business customer units.
