Symantec Triples Profit in Q4

Security and storage software provider Symantec has reported net profit of $186m for the fourth quarter of 2008, compared to $61m in the year-ago quarter, on revenue up 13% at $1.54bn. Net profit for the year was up 15% at $464m, on revenue that rose 14% to $5.9bn.
