Bolivia Nationalizes Telecom Italia Subsidiary Entel

Bolivian President Evo Morales has announced the nationalization of Entel, a subsidiary of Telecom Italia. The government holds a 47% stake in the company. Morales announced plans to buy back a majority of the former state company last year, but negotiations with Telecom Italia have dragged out.
