Red Hat Reports Strong Q4 and Year

Open Source software company Red Hat has reported an increase of 8% in net profit to $22m for the fourth quarter 2008, on revenue up 27% at $141.5m. For the year, the company reported net profit of $76.7m compared to $59.9m for the year ended February 2007, on revenue up 31% at $523m.
